Is it easy to work from home on the internet

There are many sites on the web that offer home work based work. From the numbers that advertise, it seems that there is so much competition that it is made so attractive to public. But the moment someone gets attracted to and click the convenient links that are provided, one will realise that they all ask for something to be paid upfront, mostly in $ and many also seek in INR, to down load a site or send a cd with web address that provide 'useful' links to such sites.

If one takes a bold step of paying for a cd is likely to be disappointment and sure to lose the money spent, like I did.
